Back in 2007 when I started photographing weddings, I had no idea it would turn into an actual business. I just knew at the time that I loved photography (spoiler alert: I still do) and wanted to make some money with it outside of teaching. I remember researching and looking for resources for photographers, and finding them to be all over the place!

Fast forward a year and I was in the thick of it—piecing together everything to make sure the business ran smoothly with no real roadmap in front of me. But I found my way and over the last 20 years I have made some improvements to the products, tools, and applications I use to run my business on a daily basis. I prefer to shoot with one camera on my hip, but Holdfast has the double strap holder and the Solo holder, which is the one I have. Big love for this company.

50mm Lens

If I had to keep just one lens to stay on my camera for all time, it would absolutely be the 50mm lens. This is my favorite one for Nikon.
